Driving

I got to admit, I ain't the best driver, but near the best xD. Anyway ^^... I have always been keen on driving ever since my sister passed her driving and how she became more independent and that. So once I turned 16 and 3/4 I quickly ordered my provisional so that when I'm 17, I can learn to drive straight away, which I did. So on 14/09/10 I had my first lesson. I still can remember my first lesson clearly. It was after school and my lesson starts at 5:30 I think, I remember just standing by the window waiting for my instructor to arrive... Eventually he did. At first I thought I would be scared of him but the geezer just reminded me of a fat meerkat. He smelt nice. Anyway, he took me to a car park. Just learnt about controls of a car and did a few turnings etc. so yeah it was a good lesson xP.

I wasn't really a quick learner in driving, it always took me a few goes before I could do maneuvers properly, I stalled in every lesson I had, but luckily on my tests I didn't stall at all xP. So overall had around 45 hours of lessons.

With my Theory test, at first I thought it was going to be hard as hell but everyone always assured me that you can pass even without revising, but I didn't wanna take a risk so I did intense revision for a week xD, well really just doing loads of mock tests and xD it all worked out cause like 48 out of the 50 questions on the real test came up on my mock test. I whizzed through the entire theory test within 20 mins and passed with 49/50 on the theory test and 54/75 on hazard perception. I think. Yay ^^.

With the practical, ok ok ok... I admit for the first time.... I actually am a second timer. I am a bit ashamed to be a second timer, but as people say, they're the better drivers xD. With my first test, I failed on parallel parking. I did alright since my original fucking instructor left me a week before my test and only had the other instructor for like 5 days.

Anyway I had 2 months to prepare for my 2nd test cause there was a long waiting list :(. So I had 2 lessons cause I was confident in passing ( not trying to be cocky). I was really determine to pass... Cause I didn't want people to laugh at me xD. Anyway yeah xD I did everything properly. Passed with 3 minors ^^.

I'm not amazing at driving like some of my friends who passed with 0 minors and with only 20 hours of lesson and I'm not a shit driver like my sister who passed on her 4th go and still drives like a fanny on 3rd gear. Anyway all I'm trying to say is that, yeah it's embarrassing to fail a driving test cause you'll expect loads of people to laugh at you, so there's more pressure on you to pass, but that's a good thing in my opinion, because if you pass you have more of a satisfaction because firstly 'you pass' and secondly you get to laugh at your friends back because you've proven them wrong ^^. So if you hear me cursing you to fail, I want you to pass really ^^.
