Selfishness

You suppose to be selfish to succeed in life right? I guess part of that is correct. I have a friend who's a bitch xD, but I guess I still like her cause I understand why she is that way. Don't want to give away who it is xD. Anyway, one day she told the whole class how selfishness is good in a way and how she likes being rewarded and that. Fair enough, that's her opinion, but man did that tick me off. I felt like tripping her up ( can't hit a girl). Loads of people help her and offer her help all the time and she barely does the same thing, which I think is totally wrong.

I think what I wrote above is a wrong example of what a person should be. I believe helping others and doing charity work is the way forward to a happy and successful life ^^. Being selfish just shows you're a grumpy person who's gonna get beaten up one day ^^. Doing the smallest thing in helping people is much more satisfactory than maybe passing your driving test ^^. You don't have to do much to help people, for example, just by opening a door for a person or when you see a blind man struggling to go somewhere on the streets, you would offer your guidance. Anyway, I always like helping people ^^ because every time I do, it makes me smile ^^. Teehee. So you guys best help people!
